Puntland Deploys 300 New Police

Puntland has deployed more than 300 newly trained police officers across Garowe to restore public trust and curb rising crime. The recruits, graduates of a 12-month program at the Carmo training facility, will operate under a no-leave schedule during the initial phase. President Said Abdullahi Deni said the initiative marks the start of building a modern, ethical police force, supported by funding and logistics from the United Arab Emirates.
