Libya and Turkey discussed expanding cooperation and investment in the oil and gas sector during talks between Libyan Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Abdulsadiq and Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar in Istanbul. The ministers reviewed plans to increase Libya’s oil production to two million barrels per day and expand gas infrastructure projects, including the Greenstream pipeline to Europe. They also supported joint projects linking conventional and renewable energy to strengthen regional energy security.
