UNESCO Showcases Tunisian Artefacts

Three Tunisian cultural items was featured in UNESCO’s Virtual Museum of Stolen Objects, highlighting the country’s efforts to preserve and reclaim its heritage. The artefacts include the Roman statuette “Cupid Seated on a Dolphin”, a white marble goddess head, and an illuminated 10th-century Quran folio. The initiative aims to document and raise awareness of stolen cultural goods, promote restitution, and educate the public about the historical and artistic value of Tunisia’s heritage.
