Tunisia strengthened academic and cultural ties with Romania during the second Poli International Fest in Bucharest, where it participated as guest of honor. Tunisian and Romanian universities signed 30 memorandums of understanding covering research, higher education, and student exchange. Officials also highlighted Romania’s decision to double annual scholarships for Tunisian students to 20, while Tunisia showcased startups, digital innovation, heritage, tourism, cuisine, and diaspora contributions.
