Badr Airlines launched its inaugural flight between Port Sudan and Asmara, opening a direct air link between Sudan and Eritrea. Sudan’s Civil Aviation Authority said the route would strengthen bilateral ties and regional connectivity, while Sudan’s ambassador to Eritrea said it would support direct contact between the two countries’ people. Officials said the launch followed cooperation between the two civil aviation authorities.
