The African Development Bank raised Algeria’s real GDP growth forecast to 4.1% in 2026 and projected 4.2% growth in 2027. The bank said growth was supported by public investment and hydrocarbon development, while Algeria continued to show stable macroeconomic indicators despite external pressures. The report also noted lower inflation, manufacturing and agricultural output, household consumption and human development indicators among factors linked to Algeria’s economic outlook.
