Tunis Court to Rule on Ennahdha Case

Tunis’s terrorism-specialized criminal chamber is set to issue its verdict in the “secret apparatus” case involving Ennahdha on Jun. 2. The case includes 35 defendants, among them party leader Rached Ghannouchi, vice president and former Prime Minister Ali Laarayedh, former security officials and Mustapha Khedher. Defendants include five in custody, 12 free pending trial, 11 fugitives and seven detained in other cases.
