Tunisia’s insurance sector revenue exceeded TND 1.4 billion, about €420 million, in the first quarter of 2026, up 10.5% from a year earlier. Life insurance rose 16.2% to TND 328.2 million and represented 23.4% of net premiums. Non-life insurance generated TND 1.07 billion, while compensation paid to policyholders increased 18.4% to TND 585.4 million by March, according to sector figures, showing continued activity across market segments in Tunisia’s insurance industry.
