Kenya Airways targets $500M for fleet
Kenya Airways aims to raise at least $500 million by Q1 2026 to grow and modernize its fleet after recording a pretax loss in H1 2025. The money will facilitate the replacement of aged aircrafts and restore capacity, which was lost when Dreamliners had to be kept on the ground for maintenance. Analysts believe that the capital raise is essential for Kenya Airways to recover from its losses.
