Kenya Airways Posts KSh12 B Loss
In the first half of 2025, Kenya Airways posted a Ksh 12.15 billion net loss, reversing a Ksh 513 million profit in the same period last year. Revenue fell by approximately 19 percent, driven by a drop in passenger numbers and grounded aircraft due to maintenance. Operating losses reached Ksh 6.24 billion, compared to a Ksh 1.3 billion profit in H1 2024. The airline plans to raise capital and restore fleet capacity.
