Malaysia, Ethiopia Boost Diplomat Ties

Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim ended a three-day official visit to Ethiopia aimed at strengthening diplomatic and bilateral cooperation. He held talks with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed focused on expanding partnerships across key sectors. Both governments signed agreements in tourism, air transport, health, and a sister-city pact between Addis Ababa and Kuala Lumpur. Anwar also joined a high-level forum with Ethiopian officials, saying the visit reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to deepening political and strategic relations.
