MTN MoMo, Partners Launch Agent Loans

MTN MoMo, in partnership with Letshego Uganda and dfcu Bank, launched two digital loan products to provide instant working capital for mobile money agents. The dfcu Bank Weekend Agent Loan offers UGX 1–5 million for weekend use, while Letshego’s Agent Float Loan provides UGX 300,000–5 million with flexible repayment during the week. Both require no collateral and disburse funds instantly, enabling agents to maintain liquidity, serve customers uninterrupted, and support Uganda’s digital financial inclusion.
