Morocco, Somalia Deepen Economic Ties

Morocco and Somalia held high-level talks in Dakhla to strengthen bilateral cooperation, building on years of economic and institutional partnership. Foreign ministers Nasser Bourita and Mahmoud Abdi Hassan discussed expanding collaboration under existing agreements that promote joint committees, diplomatic training and sectoral development. The meeting highlighted Somalia’s continued support for Moroccan interests and the potential for deeper economic, investment and capacity-building cooperation as both countries seek to advance shared strategic and regional priorities.
