TPA, AGL to Build $10bn Port Hub

Tanzania Ports Authority and Africa Global Logistics agreed to design, build, and operate three new terminals at Bagamoyo Port, launching a multibillion-dollar expansion to ease congestion at Dar es Salaam and attract global investors. TPA said construction will start in January and form part of a $10 billion development that includes an industrial zone. The broader project will enhance cargo capacity, improve multimodal transportation, and position Tanzania as a key logistics hub in East Africa.
