Tanzania captured five major titles at the World Travel Awards 2025, led by its second consecutive win as the World’s Leading Safari Destination. Serengeti National Park earned the global title for leading national park, while Serengeti Balloon Safaris won the leading balloon ride operator award. Zanzibar secured Africa’s best corporate retreat destination, and Mafia Island’s Jumaira Thanda Resort claimed best private island resort. Officials said the results highlight Tanzania’s strong tourism and conservation efforts.
