A high-level Ugandan delegation led by High Commissioner Paul Amoru met with MTN South Africa in Johannesburg to strengthen public-private partnerships and advance Uganda’s innovation agenda. The team, including representatives from the Science, Technology, and Innovation Secretariat, Kiira Motors Corporation, and MTN Uganda, discussed collaboration on technology, digital solutions, and electric mobility initiatives. The talks followed the arrival of Uganda’s Kayoola E-Coach, currently on a 13,000-kilometre Kampala–Cape Town e-mobility expedition.
