ZRA Launches Mobile Tax Service Camps

Zanzibar Revenue Authority launched mobile tax service camps, branded “ZRA Mtaani Kwako,” to deliver revenue services directly to communities and reduce travel and waiting times. The camps offer business registration, tax education, advisory support, vehicle registration, and issuance of new three-letter number plates. The outreach began in Chuini and will expand across Unguja and Pemba, supporting a one-year vehicle number-plate transition ending August 2026.
