Ruto Pledges Thika Road Expressway Plan

President William Ruto said the government will build an expressway from Thika to Museum Hill to ease congestion along Thika Road. Speaking during Jamhuri Day celebrations, he said construction will start next year as part of wider Nairobi road upgrades. Ruto added that stalled city projects have resumed, with 60 km of roads under construction and plans to expand key metropolitan routes into dual carriageways.
