Ethiopia Calls for Urgent UN Reform

President Taye Atske-Selassie urged urgent reform of the UNSC and greater representation for Africa during the 80th UN General Assembly debate. Taye highlighted Ethiopia’s progress in clean energy with the Grand Renaissance Dam, reaffirmed support for diplomacy and combating terrorism in the Horn of Africa, and emphasized Africa’s growing role in sustainable development and regional security.
