EC Receives New Ballot Papers

The Electoral Commission (EC) has received a new consignment of ballot papers at Entebbe Airport as Uganda prepares for the January 15 general elections. The shipment includes papers for District and City Chairpersons and District Women Councillors, completing about 90% of the required materials. EC officials, political party representatives, and observers supervised the delivery. The Commission will pack and distribute the ballots securely to polling stations, maintaining a phased process to ensure transparency and timely election preparations.
