Somalia’s Cabinet reviewed preparations for the upcoming local elections, including the municipal vote in Mogadishu, and approved several key laws. Chaired by Hamza Abdi Barre, the meeting addressed election security, public participation, and governance reforms. Ministers endorsed amendments to the Central Bank law, the National Defence Bill, and family-related legislation.
