Somalia and Ethiopia have held talks to expand bilateral fish trade and strengthen commercial cooperation in the fisheries sector. Somalia’s Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy, Ahmed Hassan Aden, met Ethiopia’s Acting Ambassador, Ketema Haile, alongside business leaders. Officials said the discussions focused on facilitating the export of Somali fish to Ethiopian markets, improving trade linkages, and unlocking regional opportunities for private-sector participation.
