Oketch Urges ODM to Oust Sifuna

Migori Senator Eddy Oketch petitioned the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to remove Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as secretary general, citing alleged misconduct and breaches of the party constitution. Oketch said Sifuna disclosed internal campaign funding details from the 2022 presidential race and publicly contradicted party positions, actions he argued harmed ODM’s image. He asked ODM to remove Sifuna from parliamentary leadership roles and committees, and to initiate disciplinary proceedings that could result in expulsion.
