Algerian universities launched a national artificial intelligence contest at Constantine 1 University, bringing together 60 innovative projects from students, faculty and researchers nationwide. The competition, held during the National Week of Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Research, focuses on AI applications, medical technology, energy and the environment, and social sciences. An expert panel will select three winners on Thursday. Highlighted entries include smart firefighting vehicles, wildfire-detection tools and AI-driven agricultural systems.
