Canon Rumanzi presents a solo exhibition, Looking into the Mad Eye of History Without Blinking, at the Nairobi Contemporary Art Institute, using digital collages and archival materials to explore Uganda’s fragmented past. He combined government documents, family photos, and press images to highlight suppressed histories. Rumanzi co-founded History in Progress Uganda to digitize and share archives, linking personal memory with public record. The exhibition situates Uganda’s history in global discussions on technology, archives, and power.
