Ethiopia Elected UNHRC Vice-President

Ethiopia was elected by consensus as Vice President and Bureau member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, representing the African Group. Ambassador Tsegab Kebebew Daka will serve in the role for one year. Bureau members guide the Council’s work, facilitate meetings, and support coordination among member states. Officials said the election reflects Ethiopia’s engagement in multilateral human rights processes. Ethiopia is also serving as a Council member.
