Ethiopia, India Implement Visa Deal

Ethiopia and India have implemented a reciprocal visa-free travel arrangement for holders of diplomatic passports following an exchange of official notes in Addis Ababa. Officials said the agreement will facilitate diplomatic engagement, institutional coordination, and high-level government travel. The two countries also confirmed progress on a sensitive Foreign Ministry data center project, describing it as a symbol of political trust, strengthened bilateral relations, and expanded cooperation in governance, security, and foreign policy coordination.
