Ethiopia launched the Digital Ethiopia 2030 Strategy to accelerate economic digitization and expand technology use across all sectors. Approved by the Council of Ministers, the plan aims to strengthen digital infrastructure, boost technological capacity, and create new economic opportunities, particularly for youth. The initiative succeeds the Digital Ethiopia 2025 Strategy, which officials said achieved its targets. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said the new strategy will enhance service delivery through automation and advanced digital systems.
