Ethiopia promoted its renewable energy market and green investment framework at the 16th Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency in the United Arab Emirates. Officials highlighted Ethiopia’s 98% clean power mix, renewable-backed industrial policies, and electric mobility initiatives as opportunities for private sector participation. Ethiopia also positioned the upcoming COP32 in 2027 as a platform to attract green finance, expand regional energy markets, and scale commercial renewable projects across Africa.
