Ethiopia and the World Bank signed an additional $250 million financing agreement to support the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project. The funding will improve incomes for the urban poor, expand labour market inclusion for youth and women, and support refugees and host communities. Key measures include labor-intensive public works, livelihood grants, and strengthened social assistance systems through cash transfers and reintegration services.
