Forum Promotes Uganda to Thailand

Uganda’s High Commission in Kuala Lumpur hosted the Uganda Business Forum and Expo in Bangkok to promote investment opportunities for Thai businesses. Officials highlighted priority sectors such as tourism, agro-industrialization, ICT, and mining, and outlined incentives including tax exemptions, duty waivers, and access to more than 500 million regional consumers. Ministers and diplomats urged Thai investors to pursue partnerships in mineral exploration, value addition, renewable energy, and trade, aiming to deepen Uganda-Thailand economic cooperation.
