Uganda’s Kayoola E-Coach electric bus completed a 7,125-kilometer trans-African journey, arriving in Cape Town after crossing six countries. Built by Kiira Motors Corporation, the bus demonstrated durability, energy efficiency, and long-haul capability during the Pearl to Cape Electric Expedition. The journey helped secure a commercial contract for 450 electric buses and 75 fast chargers, positioning Uganda as a growing exporter of electric mobility technology in Africa.
