Mellitah Oil and Gas Company completed a second heavy-lift operation at the Al-Bouri offshore field as part of its gas utilization project. The operation involved installing units weighing more than 5,200 tons on Platform No. 4 to support gas production capacity estimated at 120 million cubic feet per day. The project supports Libya’s plans to reduce gas flaring, expand energy production, strengthen gas supplies for industry and power generation, and meet the National Oil Corporation’s zero-flaring target by 2030.
