Mudavadi Defends ODM’s Path

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi said Raila Odinga and the Orange Democratic Movement never attempted to take power through unconstitutional means. Speaking at an ODM event in Mombasa, he cited Raila’s reliance on legal processes during the 2007–08 post-election crisis and the negotiations that produced the Grand Coalition Government. Mudavadi said ODM has supported electoral reforms and contributed to the 2010 Constitution, including its strong advocacy for devolution.
