Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company completed a full digital overhaul of its customer service and infrastructure monitoring systems. All applications and billing now run through online platforms supported by automated meter-reading technology. The utility also deployed a GIS-based asset management system that tracks water and sewer networks in real time, enabling rapid detection of leaks and bursts. NCWSC said the transformation aims to enhance accuracy, reduce losses, and position Nairobi as a smart-utility city.
