Kenya and Somalia Discuss Cooperation

Somalia and Kenya held high-level talks in Nairobi to strengthen political cooperation on housing, urban planning, and infrastructure. Somalia’s Minister of Public Works, Elmi Mahmoud Noor, met Kenyan Public Works Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome to deepen bilateral coordination and establish mechanisms for continued government-to-government engagement. Officials highlighted the importance of technical exchanges, joint planning, and regional connectivity. The meeting also reaffirmed both states’ commitment to advancing cooperation through structured dialogue and institutional partnerships.
