Sonatrach and National Oil Corporation announced a new gas and condensate discovery in the Ghadames Basin, western Libya. The A1-69/02 well, located 70 kilometers from the Al-Wafa field, produces about 13 million cubic feet of gas and 327 barrels of condensate daily. Drilled to 8,440 feet, the well is the sixth under a joint exploration agreement. Officials said the discovery strengthens Libya’s energy capacity, supports investment, and enhances regional cooperation in hydrocarbons development efforts.
