Tunisia advanced its national artificial intelligence agenda through events focused on engineering, digital sovereignty, and agricultural energy projects. Communications Technology Minister Sofiene Hemissi said AI forms a core part of the 2023-2026 development plan and will affect sectors including health, farming, education, administration, and services. Officials also presented AI-supported solar design tools for agriculture and called for training engineers to improve water, energy, and resource management.
