Tunisia’s National Heritage Institute said it recovered 210 archaeological artifacts from Canada from earlier excavations at Carthage. The operation took place under Culture Ministry supervision and in coordination with the Canadian archaeological mission. The recovered items included 105 bronze coins and 105 fragments of terracotta figurines. Officials linked the return to international efforts to protect archaeological heritage and restore artifacts connected to Tunisia’s historic sites.
