Türkiye and Somalia have launched a two-year labour cooperation program aimed at strengthening workforce development and labour market systems. The 2026–2027 action plan focuses on vocational training, labour migration management, occupational health and safety, and labour inspections. Officials said the initiative will support skills development, improve workplace standards, and enhance institutional capacity, contributing to productivity growth, employment creation, and long-term economic resilience in Somalia.
