Uganda Hosts STEM, Robotics Contest
The Uganda Communications Commission and Ministry of Education supported the third National STEM and Robotics Skills Competitions, held in Kampala, to develop practical science and technology skills among students. Over 380 learners from 30 schools competed in robotics, electronics, engineering, and hackathon challenges. Eight teams won awards and earned chances to represent Uganda internationally. Organizers emphasized that such competitions build innovators, align with the competence-based curriculum, and advance Uganda’s science-driven economic goals.
