Uganda secured a seat on UNIDO’s fifty-three-member Industrial Development Board for 2025–2027 during the UNIDO General Conference in Riyadh. Ambassador Isaac Sebulime led Uganda’s delegation and said the country aims to use UNIDO partnerships to advance innovation, productivity, and value-added manufacturing. The conference also highlighted gender equality in industry and recognized Nature Bio Foods, which operates in Uganda, with a sustainability award for its farmer-centered supply chain practices.
