Zimbabwe and Tanzania signed a six-year Memorandum of Understanding to boost trade and investment through their national chambers of commerce. The agreement includes joint trade missions, business forums, and economic data sharing to support private-sector development. It also seeks to reduce non-tariff barriers, promote joint ventures, and expand business networks. Officials say the partnership is expected to raise trade volumes, attract investment, and create jobs in agriculture, energy, transport, mining, and manufacturing.
