Libya’s National Oil Corporation announced that Zueitina Oil Company restarted the diesel production unit at the Zallah oil field after nearly a decade of inactivity. The unit, shut down since March 2015 due to a technical fault, now produces around 500 barrels per day. Officials said the rapid restart supports field operations and highlights local engineers’ capacity to restore critical energy infrastructure despite spare parts shortages.
